Chris has over 20 years of experience in engineering, design, implementation and sustainment of complex systems and systems of systems. He has extensive experience both as a federal civilian and as a contractor on programs across the Federal CWMD Enterprise, particularly within DOD, DHS and other Federal Response and Recovery Developers.
Tim Mahoney
Dynamis Chief Operating Officer
A professional firefighter for over 20 years, Tim’s experiences supporting his local fire department have instilled in him a passion for community service and public safety. As an emergency response SME, he has advised and mentored several government agencies to prepare our country for both natural and man-made threats. He was a key contributor to the development of national-level emergency response doctrine for FEMA, as well as the establishment of emergency response training and exercise protocols for national, state, local, and tribal governments.
Steve Jennings

Steve has over 30 years of experience supporting government and industry in the areas of engineering/science, design, operations, program management, strategic communications, planning, and outreach. He has been a Project and Task manager for numerous programs conducted within DTRA Chemical Biological (CB) including Contamination avoidance for military mail (CAFMM), Biological Defense Initiative (BDI), BioNet, WMD-CST, Interagency Biological Restoration Demonstration (IBRD), and the Joint Service Installation Pilot Project (JSIPP).
Brad Gardner
Dynamis Chief Financial Officer
Brad Gardner currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Dynamis and is responsible for leading the Corporate Support Group as well as our Information Technology and Compliance (ITC) Division. He assists the President, CEO, and COO of Dynamis with policy and strategy, and oversees the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. He assures legal and regulatory compliance while identifying and addressing both financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Mike Midgley
Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer
Mike has over 20 years of experience in program management and technical support primarily in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense. He has led science and technology master integration efforts for the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security and other organizations to develop or enhance warfighter and first responder capabilities. Some of the programs he has managed include: BioNet, Interagency Biological Restoration Demonstration (IBRD), Wide Area Recovery and Resiliency Program (WARRP), Transatlantic Collaborative Biological Resiliency Demonstration (TaCBRD), Integrated Early Warning (IEW), Texas Panhandle Regional Planning Commission Regional Resiliency Assessment Program, and the Organization of American States biological incident response workshop and exercise program. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a retired Navy Captain who served as a Surface Warfare Officer in several operational and shore commands.

Alan joined Dynamis in April 2017 as a Senior Principal and Director of our Security Solutions portfolio, bringing with him three decades of leadership experience as well as national defense and homeland security expertise. He leads a business unit that provides security-related services to the public and private sector and is our company lead for corporate growth. Alan has served in several senior executive roles, military leadership positions, and operational commands over his career, establishing a record of success in the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and the U.S. Air Force.
John Mclain

John McLain is a Dynamis Principal and Director for the Defense and Science Solutions Group. An experienced leader, manager, strategist, and strategic analyst, John is an expert in countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) strategy and strategic planning efforts, and is the author/lead writer for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) R&D Strategic Vision, 2018 DTRA Strategic Plan for R&D, and 2019 DTRA Strategic Plan for RDT&E.
